Jio has not only removed Rs98 plan from Jio website and Myjio App but also from third-party recharge platforms such as PayTm,Amazon pay,Google Pay and Phone Pe.This prepaid plan was very popular among the subscribers who needed low volume of data.The plan offered 2GB data for 28 days.
After delisting of this affordable prepaid plan, the prepaid plan of Rs.128 is the cheapest plan Jio is offering.The prepaid plan of Rs.128 offers 2GB unlimited Data,unlimited Jio to Jio calls, 1000 minutes of call for Jio to other networks and 300 SMSs cap for 28 days.This plan is similar to Rs 98 plan except addition of non-FUP minutes.After data limit exceeds,the data rate is reduced to 64 Kbps.
Jio has launched another plan of Rs 999 Prepaid plan which offers 3GB of 4G data for 84 days.
This plan is accompanied by the benefits such unlimited Jio calls with 3000 non-FUP minutes and 100 SMSs per day for entire validity period. Jio has launched many plans for "work from Home" type of class.
Jio has not given any reasons for the withdrawal fo Rs 98 plan.
